      Accessing the User Profile application from the Web/Desktop App/Administration Portal 4

      To access the User Profile application from the Web/Desktop App and Administration Portal 4:

      1. Click on your username or avatar.

      2. Click on User profile.
        ⇒ The User Profile application will open in the web browser.

      Changing user data

      Once in the User Profile application, you will land in the User Data. in this tab, you can:

      • Change username (email address)

      • Change password

      • Change language

      Changing username

      To change username:

      1. Go to the Username field.

      2. Make changes.

      3. Click Save.

      Changing password

      To change the password:

      1. Click Change password.
        ⇒ An input widget will open.

      2. Enter your current password and new password.

      3. Click Save.
        ⇒ The password has been saved successfully.

      Changing language

      To change the language:

      1. Go to the language field.

      2. Select a language.
        ⇒ The language will be applied to all the affected web and desktop apps automatically within 5 minutes, or directly after refreshing or restarting the respective app.

      Managing authentication factors

      Under the Authentication factors tab, you can:

      • see a list of your current authentication factors

      • add new authentication factors

      • remove authentication factors

      Important

      Before adding a new multi-factor authentication device, make sure you have an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or FreeOTP) installed on your mobile device.

      Adding a new authentication factor

      To add a new authentication factor:

      1. Click the + symbol.
        ⇒ The login page will open. You will be asked to enter your password again.

      2. Re-enter your password.

      3. Click Sign in.
        ⇒ The mobile authenticator setup will open.

      4. Open your authenticator app.

      5. Use the app to scan the QR code on your screen.
        Alternatively, if you cannot scan the QR code, click "Unable to scan? Show number code" to receive a number code.
        ⇒ Your authenticator app wil show a one-time code.

      6. Enter the one-time code and device name into the Mobile Authentication Setup dialogue.
        Please note that the one-time code is only valid for one minute. If you do not enter it fast enough, you will have to request a new code.

      7. Click Submit.

      Removing an authentication factor

      To remove an authentication factor:

      • Click on the trash can icon to the right of the authentication factor you would like to remove.

      What to do if you have set up an authentication app, yet have no access to it and cannot log in

      If you cannot use your authentication device or the app, you will have to create a new password and set up a new authentication factor. To do so:

      1. Go to the login page.

      2. Click Forgot password.

      3. Follow the instructions to create a new password and set up a new authentication factor. For more information on how to change your password, see Forgot password.
